Search Engine Optimization is the mechanism by which the visibility of a particular site is increased through the unpaid search results. It is one of the most effective ways of internet marketing. Promoting a site through unique contents, back links or inbound links is also another strategy of SEO. Other SEO techniques to improve upon visibility can also be cross linking where more links are provided in the same website. It is a great way of earning huge returns on investments.

In an SEO system of operation, clients should be treated as the boss. They are the kings!! They are always right. There should be room for extreme honesty. Some clients try to hide old incidents that might have happened to their site. For example there might have been a case of the site getting banned or getting penalized for some reason. If these facts are hidden from the SEO expert then how will he understand the real position of the site in order to take it higher in the ranking?

One thing must be kept in mind. It’s impossible to get a site back once it’s banned even if you try to appeal to Google itself. Details are very important for an SEO; some times the client does not understand this. If the client does not know much about the way SEO activities happen. The SEO expert should take the initiative to teach him what it is.  

Though most companies want it to happen as soon as possible and clients want it fastest, SEO is an art and like all other forms of art, it takes time and sometimes a lot of it. There are certain things that the client needs to provide an SEO; otherwise the work cannot be started the way it should.  Another thing that a client must know is the fact that there is no such thing as a promised result or guaranteed results in SEO. Like the way the client learns from you what the SEO process is all about, even you as an SEO need to learn sometimes what the business of the client is all about. What are their strategies, procedures, statuses with customers and many more. 

There are no other short cuts for SEO as it takes the ladder route. You cannot be on the open if you have not mastered the rat of SEO and followed all the necessary steps.
